Ubiquiti airMAX Series Review
The Ubiquiti airMax range is comprised of a number of different product lines, designed to offer hardware accelerated performance using Ubiquiti’s custom silicon.
The airMax range is designed to offer highly scalable solutions, with low latency, high throughput speeds and impressive wireless distances. AirMAX models are ideal for networks of all sizes, with products suited for every deployment.
Ubiquiti airMAX Bullet M
The Ubiquiti airMAX Bullet comes in variety of models that include the Bullet M2, Bullet M5, Bullet M2 Titanium and Bullet M5 Titanium. The Ubiquiti Bullet can turn any antenna into a powerful airMAX system with throughput of 100+Mbps and a 50+ km range.
The Ubiquiti NanoStation products have a sleek form factor and combine both a powerful airMax CPE radio with MIMO antenna array performance. The NanoStation has proven to be an effective solution in both extreme weather conditions and temperatures. There are a number of models in the NanoStation range including the NanoStation M2 and NanoStation M5. Some models offer a range of up to 15km. NanoStations have 150Mbps throughput speeds.
Ubiquiti airMAX NanoBeam
The Ubiquiti NanoBeam builds on the platform set by the Nanostation, reinventing CPE with Pole / Wall mountable products with a screwless design. There are a number of different models available and these include the NanoBeam M5 16dBi, NanoBeam M5 19dBi and NanoBeam ac 19dBi. All models are set in the 5GHz spectrum. The NanoBeam M5 19dBi offers throughput of 450+Mbps.
Ubiquiti airMAX NanoBridge
The Ubiquiti NanoBridge range creates a powerful wireless unit capable of up to 100+ Mbps real outdoor throughput and up to 30+ km range by combining Ubiquiti’s InnerFeed and airMAX technologies. The Ubiquiti NanoBridge models include the NanoBridge NBM9, NanoBridge NBM365 and NanoBridge NBM3.
Ubiquiti airMAX Powerbridge
The Ubiquiti airMax Powerbridge M range has both a compact and weatherproof design. Powerbridge is perfectly suited for PtP airMAX applications that require compact installation without performance compromise, offering a range of 20+ km at speeds of 150Mbps. Models include the PowerBridge M3, PowerBridge M365, PowerBridge M5 and PowerBridge M10.
Ubiquiti airMAX PicoStation
The Ubiquiti PicoStation M2-HP is the smallest outdoor access point in the world. With up to 1000mW of output power the PicoM2-HP can provide unprecedented range coverage up to 500m outdoors, and a throughput of 100Mbps.
Ubiquiti airMAX PowerBeam
The Ubiquiti PowerBeam range is the latest generation of Ubiquiti Networks airMAX CPE for customer locations, incorporating a dish reflector design with advanced technology. There are currently 2 ac models in this range including the PBE-5AC-620 and the PBE-5AC-500. These units offer throughput of 450+Mbps on the 5GHz spectrum.

The airGrid M HP series combines Ubiquiti’s InnerFeed and airMAX (TDMA protocol) technologies to create a simple, yet extremely powerful and robust wireless CPE (Customer Premises Equipment).
Ubiquiti airMAX Rocket ac
The Ubiquiti Rocket ac models feature airMAX ac technology. The Rocket ac models include the Rocket 5 ac Lite, Rocket 5 ac PTP and Rocket 5 ac PTMP. The three models offer throughput of 450Mbps in the 5GHz spectrum.

The Rockets feature enhanced radio performance and mix-and-match industrial design, Ubiquiti airMax Rockets can be paired with a choice of airMax basestation or Rocket antennas, providing network architects unparalleled flexibility, versatility and convenience. The Rocket series includes models such as the Rocket M2, Rocket M5 and Rocket M5 Titanium.
Ubiquiti airMAX Rocket Titanium
The Ubiquiti Rocket M Titanium features superior durability and enhanced radio performance, providing breakthrough speeds of up to 150+ Mbps. The Rocket M2 Titanium and Rocket M5 Titanium have carrier-class capabilities that enable link distances of up to 50+ km.

Pair an Ubiquiti airMAX Omni Antenna with a Rocket M BaseStation for 360° coverage in Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) networks.
Ubiquiti airMax Software
The airMax range employs the Airview spectrum analyser which is used to diagnose frequency interference allowing the installer the freedom to choose the best network bandwidth choice for the area. Independant spectrum analysers can be very expensive so the tools integration maximises the products use by increasing the speed of successful deployment at a very low cost.
