New ICT Solution Bundles from Funkwerk offer perfect Voice and Data Convergence
Funkwerk Enterprise Communications is expanding its portfolio to include two new ICT product bundles based on the elmeg hybird 600 and bintec RT4402 media VPN gateway. FEC’s new solution bundles provide an PRI interface for the elmeg hybird 600 system and enable a wide range of other communications solutions to meet the specific needs of individual business environments.
The elmeg hybird 600 GW Bundle IP is targeted at PRI customers mainly using IP devices. The elmeg hybird 600 GW Bundle TDM supports conventional telephones.
The elmeg hybird and the media VPN gateway are an ideal match for convergent voice and data and enable a broad range of additional applications beyond the included S2M functionality. A complete system reduces cost and complexity, accelerating business processes. The Funkwerk Configuration Interface (FCI) makes it simple to configure this highly coordinated duo.
Both elmeg hybird 600 GW bundles come configured for 60 users with 30 external channels. The required licenses are preinstalled. In addition to providing up to two PRI interfaces, the bintec RT4402 also provides additional functionality such as PRI virtualization and VPN and can function as an Internet access gateway. These features simplify migrating to the bintec media gateway within existing infrastructures and allow high performance branch networking to connect office and mobile users over the Internet with strong encryption. The bintec RT4402 also handles fax and voice connections within the virtualized server environment of CAPI-based unified communication systems. All operating modes can run concurrently without limiting performance or functionality.
