How do I control the UniFi Switch?

The UniFi Switch can be managed using the UniFi Controller software. Admins can configure multiple UniFi sites all in a centralised interface. The software can be downloaded free of charge and there is no licensing required. The following features can be configured using the UniFi Controller software.

  • PoE setting per port
  • Operation mode (switching, mirroring, or aggregate) per port
  • Network/VLAN configuration
  • Jumbo frame and flow control services
  • Network settings

Who should use the UniFi Switch?

The UniFi Switch is designed to work in UniFi networks, featuring other UniFi products including the UniFi AP, UniFi Security Gateway and UniFi VoIP Phones. The UniFi Switch is fully interoperable and all UniFi components can be managed quickly and easily using the UniFi Controller software.
