What is the Ubiquiti Rocket ac?
The Ubiquiti Rocket ac models are the latest addition to the Ubiquiti airMax rocket series. The ac rockets are available as two models, the Rocket 5 ac Lite and the Rocket 5 ac PtP. Both include airMAX ac technology, and the Rocket5ac PtP also features airPrism technology to further enhance its performance.
The Rocket ac models use the 5GHz radio band that is free to use worldwide. They include 24V Passive PoE functionality and a Gigabit Ethernet connection to deliver high throughput.

What models are available?
There are two ac models currently available in the Rocket series. The Rocket5ac Lite is launched with PtP functionality and adds PtMP functionality with a firmware upgrade to airOS v7.1 or higher. The Rocket5ac PtP features Ubiquiti’s innovative airPrism technology and is ideal for PtP links in noisy, high‐density environments.

Ubiquiti Rocket ac models feature airOS v7, the operating system designed for airMax ac products. From here users can access powerful wireless features such as Protocol Support, Usability Enhancements, Advanced RF Analytics and much more.
